Dua To Stay Protected From The Evil Of Your Nafs(Soul)
“O Ever Living One, O Eternal One, by Your mercy, I call on You to set right all my affairs.
Do not place me in charge of my soul even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment)”
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoomu birahmatika ‘astagheethu ‘aslih lee sha’nee kullahu wa laa takilnee ‘ilaa nafsee tarfata ‘aynin.

Dua For Your Protection From DISEASES And INSANITY
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from leucoderma [Vitiligo] , insanity, leprosy and EVIL DISEASES”
“Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-barasi, wal- jununi, wal-judhami, wa sayyi’il-asqaam”
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) used to supplicate with this dua.

Dua For When You Hear The THUNDER
Read this dua when you hear the thunder.
“Glory is to Him Whom thunder and angels glorify due to fear of Him”
سُبْـحانَ الّذي يُسَبِّـحُ الـرَّعْدُ بِحَمْـدِهِ، وَالملائِكـةُ مِنْ خيـفَته
Subhaanal-lathee yusabbihur-ra’du bihamdihi walmalaa’ikatu min kheefatihi.
Whenever Abdullah bin Zubair (Radi Allahu anhu) would hear thunder, he would abandon his conversation and say this supplication.

Thunder is called Ra’d in Arabic. There is also a surah named after it. Surah Ar-Ra’d is chapter 13 of the Holy Quran.
Dua For Protection From Hardships, Misfortunes, Enemies And Evil Destiny
”O Allah, Surely we seek refuge in You against the hardship of turmoils and attacks of misfortunes and evil destiny and from the mockery of (triumphant) enemies”
Allaahummaa inna na’oothubika min jahdil-balaa, wa darkish-shaqaa, wa soo’il-qadha, wa shamatatil-‘adaa
Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu anhu)reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) used to seek refuge (in Allah) from the evil of destiny and from falling into the hand of calamity and from the mockery of (triumphant) enemies and from the hardship of misery.
Abu Sufyan reported: I am in doubt that I have made an addition of one word in this supplication. (Book #035, Hadith #6540)
Dua To Stay Protected From any Disgrace And Punishment On The Judgement Day
“Our Lord! Indeed, whom You admit to the Fire, then surely, You have disgraced him, and never will the wrongdoers find any helpers.”
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ
Rabbanaa ‘innaka man tudkhilin-naara faqad akhzaytahu wa maa lidh–dhaalimeena min ansaar.
Surah Al-Imran,verse 192
This dua can be recited for the following purposes.
- Protection from the torment of the Fire
- To save oneself from being disgraced on the day of Judgement
This is the supplication of the believers.
(“Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him;), by humiliating and disgracing him before all people on the Day of Gathering,
(“and never will the wrongdoers find any helpers.”), on the Day of Judgment, who would save them from You. Therefore, there is no escaping whatever fate You decided for them.

“Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You never break (Your) Promise.”
رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Rabbanaa wa atinaa maa wa’adtanaa ‘alaa rusulika walaa tukhzinaa yawmal-qiyaamati, innaka laa tukhliful-mee’aad
Surah Al-Imran ,verse 194
This dua can be recited for the following purposes.
- Protection from being disgraced on the day of Judgement
- To ask for Allah’s blessings and fulfillment of His promise
(“Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers”) for our faith in Your Messengers, or, and this explanation is better; grant us what You promised us by the words of Your Messengers,
(“and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection,”), before all creation,
(“for You never break (Your) Promise.”), for surely, the promise that You conveyed to Your Messengers, which includes us being resurrected before You, shall certainly come to pass.

Dua For The Protection Of Your Children
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to seek Allah’s protection for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain (Radi Allahu anhu) by saying
أُعيـذُكُمـا بِكَلِـماتِ اللهِ التّـامَّة، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْـطانٍ وَهـامَّة، وَمِنْ كُـلِّ عَـيْنٍ لامَّـة
I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every envious blameworthy eye.
U’eethukumaa bikalimaatil-laahit-taammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammatin, wa min kulli ‘aynin laammatin.
Dua For The Cure Of Evil Eye
Read this dua to ward off the effects of EVIL EYE.
”In the name of ALLAH. O ALLAH ! Remove its [evil eye] heat and cold and its pain”
Bismillaahi Allaahumma azhab harraha wa bardaha wa wasabaha
Reference: Nassai, Tabrani, narrated by Jabir bin Saeed Radi Allahu anhu

| harraha |  | its [evil eye] heat |

Ibn ‘Abbas reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The influence of an evil eye is a fact; if anything would precede the destiny it would be the influence of an evil eye, and when you are asked to take bath (as a cure) from the influence of an evil eye, you should take bath.[Muslim ]
May Allah save us from jealousy and the harmful effects of evil eye, ameen
